Why not let a robot do the work?

These days we hear a lot about RPA or Robotic Process Automation. The basic principle is that a computer program takes on and automates various tasks. So there are (as yet) no actual robots that run around in the office and do the work for you.

Why not let a robot do the work-bg

We have already built such robots and gave them the name “Macro”, because Excel robots are actually nothing more than a macro that runs in the background and does exactly the same steps that the user would otherwise have to do manually.

We have created an Excel macro for one of our customers, which formats the credit card statement of a bank in such a way that it can be loaded into the accounting system every month. This work used to take around 30 minutes a month, with the robot this was reduced to 2 seconds. Since the robot never gets tired and makes no typos, it will also do its job perfectly and in a few seconds if the statement contains 100, 1000 or even more lines.

Almost every office job has such recurring work that not only takes a lot of time, but usually isn’t really fun either.

Do you have repetitive work in Excel or another application? Get in touch with us and we will let you know whether our macro robot can do the work for you.

In this video you can see how the credit card statement is brought into the right structure with just one click:
